A closer look at our PM

Re: A closer look at our PM

How does one define the difference between "voted against, voted strongly against and voted very strongly against?

Since  as a frontbencher, Turnbull was obliged either to toe the party line or resign, then I don't really see how his vote can be used as any indication of the strength of his personal feelings.

I don't imagine  he is likely make any dramatic changes in policy in the immediate future anyway. It will be interesting to see what happens as we approach the next election; and we can only hope that if he does lead the LNP to victory, he will then start with a clean slate and  some more progressive policies.

They explain it here https://theyvoteforyou.org.au/people/representatives/wentworth/malcolm_turnbull/policies/1

We simply need to look back to when he was leader before. Not everyone agreed with him now, did they?

Re: A closer look at our PM

How  can a debate apropos the format and content of a site you introduced be called "diversionary"?

DH: "What you post in regards to his vote is diversionary. They subject isn't why he voted it is about his votes. If the votes are wrong, show me please. Then we can move on to carbon pricing etc"

Codswallop , here is the OP:

Some really surprising things there.

I then proceed to investigate the "surprising things" in the link which is a valid course of action and the "subject" of the post,

"surprising things" in the above context has no qualifications or limitations,  and thus I am free to comment on all or any of the contents of the link mentioned.

I like him because B.S.Shorten is now a lame duck, not that he wasn't one before but even more so. Labor can't get shot of him so they will not win the next election.

I hope you are all happy now that Mr Turnbull is PM.Man Very Happy

I will decide for myself what is surprising and what isn't thanks MM 🙂 It is good to know how our PM has voted, I maintain that I found some of the things SURPRISING !!
