Hiya folks, long time no see but have to seen the update to the UK boards? Have a look at my links eh? One is to the Round Table, the other is to the Community Update.
Do you fancy having the same down here? It hasn't had a good reception in the UK so as your board layout is the easy-to-use layout I wondered what you thought of it?
The Round Table - The eBay Community
Community Updates - The eBay Community
It's life Jim, but not as WE know it.

there are some members whose participation in that thread has not been revealed . . . and I am not about to reveal who they are.
I have no problem being identified as a participant as I have referenced my part in that thread/discussion on the general boards before.

Yes, there were others, and I probably shouldn't have dobbed poor Kopes in.
I apologise to him.
I won't divulge any more names now

Why the need for SECRECY ? ........... I find that tad weird
Because they didn't want 200 opinions jumping all over each other probably
Lyndal, thanks for acknowledging that particular thread.
So I guess others, opinions DONT count .......... no wonder we get the same 'ol , same ol' boring threads on here
Lyndal has already replied that it was one of the conditions set out by the ebay member.
At the time I thought it implied a holiday to ebali if I didn't comply.
Or at the very least Community Spirit being obliterated.
I think I was the only one from Community Spirit at the time. The others were from the other Discussion Boards.
Community Spirit still here? You're welcome.
if it weren't for you.

What - I think that gives a little more credt than was asked for - I think added was - welcome.
Yes and a quite sincere welcome it was, I'm sure... considering the immediate attack that followed...
Believe me I have - you stated you barely only scanned titles over the past 3 years - who's the fly - fairly recent. LOL
Please do me the favor of not putting words in my mouth... what I SAID was, "...I've been off the box for around three years. I VERY rarely ever go there anymore and when I do, I usually just scan the thread titles, then leave." (Reading comprehension is your friend)
As for The Fly... I'll will stick with my tradition of not naming names... however, I will toss you one final hint (of the many already out there)... ready? Here it is: ridiculous people often post in foreign lands (foreign to me? foreign to you? figure it out... that's the end of the clue).
Most, if not all of my pictures were done with a touch of humor, tongue-in-cheek, you might say... though admittedly many won't see that... especially those who "see themselves" as they appear to me. Also, anyone who cares to do some digging will see the picture that I did warning against, "trying to put out a fire with gasoline"... I don't pick my subjects at random... people who leave me alone generally get left alone... especially these days... though I will admit that in the past a few characters may have come into existence simply because, as I stated earlier, they struck me as being ridiculous.
What bull would that be.
The bull that a certain overly dramatic US poster has been spreading over the last several years to gain sympathy and make herself more interesting while at the same time keeping herself at the center of attention... SHE hasn't been around here in person in some time, and I've had sympathy towards her since her friend passed... I even did a several day tribute to her friend, who was at one time my friend, too, until one day they both stopped laughing at "themselves" in my pictures and decided to be offended, instead... but people who know her stories and attack me because of them just keep popping up here, so I'm assuming that she's still over there working her magic, either on the threads or in private messages... (also, I doubt that you could have come up with that list of "Who's Who" all by your lonesome).
Time for me to go post another picture! I wonder how the views will do after all of this publicity? I'll read the other comments on this thread later and I may... or may not... return to answer a few more questions...

Guess that I got my reward for trying to be nice...
For the record... I have NEVER stated that any particular cartoon image represented any particular poster... but many posters do like to claim that some particular image is, "them"... I certainly can't help that...
You might check the dates on some of the images that you are scolding me for, as well...
AND it probably wouldn't hurt you any if you were to spit back up some of the bull that you've been fed instead of swallowing it whole...
Pretty dishonest, aren't you?!
Wonder who that cattle dog represents?

Was surprised to read this as I remember your post and it's still there for anyone to see (page 100 of my thread when I'm logged in, page 5 if I'm not).
No reply at all was given to your comment about Cary Grant... and in rereading your comment, I still see no reason why I would have made one. You seemed to be making a bit of a funny (you included smilies) and I just let it go at that. I most certainly DID NOT give any sort of, "nasty reply" as you say, but then it was 2 1/2 years ago and maybe you didn't go look to refresh your memory, as I did.

I may be many things, but, "dishonest" isn't one of them. Show me a post where I claimed that you are the cattle dog, and I will sincerely apologize. I do, however, seem to recall YOU making a post where you yourself claimed to "be" the cattle dog.
Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

There are several leaks in your bucket.
Your ' honesty ' is as thinly veiled as your artistic abilities.

I did not need to refresh my memory.
I protested at what you had done to pictures of my favourite actor, but as it was supposd to be a fun and happy thread I used smilies instead of frowning faces.
I considered it nasty when you kept on posting more and more altered images of Cary Grant.
I am used to people who consider others feelings and do not keep posting something that another person does not like.
I exercised my right to not return to this thread.....that is all.
