Which one deserves a demotion?
Does it make any difference if the chief of staff drives over the limit whilst at work or leisure?

In regards to breaking the law, I don't think it makes a difference whether it was at work or leisure but in relation to how well she does her job, which I think is what Abbott was suggesting, then I guess it makes a difference.
I have to agree with Abbott in that she will go through the normal process anyone would go through...the courts etc...or I would hope she would anyway.
Shame though that fellow co workers and perhaps even Tony himself let her drive while she was obviously intoxicated.

not eveyone shows obvious signs of being over the limit. She like others will be required to go through the steps of drink driving.....just like the labor members caught over the limit have had to do. Even members children have been caught......both of liberal and labor parents

Correct
Its just a beat up and typical shuggy and labor luvvie desperation
I am sure the shuggy knows people (dont you shuggy) that have blown the limit (most of us do) but the people we know are not made into a head line in every paper in the country. Poor Peta is not only going through the fact she blew over the limit but she has to be front page news for the entire country to see.
But carry on there shuggy 🙂

Posts are becoming somewhat petty DY.
Perhaps Abbott's staffer could ask Gillard's "captains choice" Nova Peris what the ACT procedures are, as Perris was picked up for drink-driving in the ACT a while ago.

Which one deserves a demotion?
Quite honestly, both of them deserve to be sacked in my opinion. And Nova Peris, and anyone else currently involved in the political scene.
