A victory to stupid people

Re: A victory to stupid people

We live in a global economy, icy.  Businesses that don't embrace that get left behind and die. Bega cheese has had halal

certification since 1996 and a good export market.

Not all exports need halal certification.

From the statement below.

Fingers crossed no job losses. I am sure South Australia can do without shrinking job positions.

Dairy farmers income will be reduced

Emitates will find another supplier, may not be one in South Aust though.

It's all a bit odd, he tells people not to boycott but he bowed down to pressure?

Oh yeah, bushies, clearly.

Australian interests can be sold off to anyone. As long as the dollar rolls in who cares about aussie values and ethics.

Anyone who doesn't jump on the gravy train is "stupid".

He didn't decide not to jump on the gravy train, pressure from social media forced him to jump off it.

Which particular Aussie values or ethics dictate the kind of accreditation you are permitted to obtain in order to export your product?

Would it have been OK to for him get kosher or lactose free accreditation if one of his big customers had required it?

What "Australian interests" was he selling off?

Your post comes dangerously close to suggesting that it should be made illegal for producers  to seek halal accreditation for their products. Is this what you are advocating?

Re: A victory to stupid people

The statement is a bit strange. The ant-halal label brigade are not against Kosher certification, which this company has pulled out of as well. Unless this company are just taking a blanket approach to any certification for religious reasons.

Milk is halal, so no issue there.

"Following the success of the Fleurieu Milk Company, the Fleurieu Yoghurt Company was established in April 2010. Using a proven family recipe, the Yoghurt is 95% fat free, contains no gelatine, gluten free and no artificial preservatives."

No gelatine anyway. Does it need halal certification to prove it has no gelatine?

Would it not  make sense that if the export market required Hahal certification, they would get it, so they can export? who is going to buy the exports?

Oh yes it makes sense alright.

So long as you have no ethics. Have no pride in your heritage. Don't care about your religious beliefs. Don't mind selling yourself out to big business.

many companies export without halal certification anf they are not going broke and they refuse to go down that path. anything to with halal is dealing with islam as halal is the path to sharia its even written on the certificates saying under the guildlines of Islamic Sharia
