AFL players crying poor?

AFL players thought their wealth was eternal — now coronavirus has introduced them to a new world

i like my footy

but lets face the facts, there is no footy now.

no bums on seats, nobody buying over priced food and drink.

prolly not much merchandise selling either.

so there is no 'income'

just where do the players think the money they think they should be getting paid not to play will come from?

million dollar contracts or not, to me they are no different to thousands of other aussies, out of a job!

i rekon they should be down at centrelink with the other ordinary aussies.

Many, many eons ago, footy players had 'real' jobs.

Playing footy on the weekend was a bonus.

Don't they have 'real' jobs anymore?

Sux to be them   hahahaha

collingwood, wealthiest footy club ever, still with its hand out!

for the past 30 odd years the AFL has been screwing the fans over, the ordinary people who sit in the rain and buy their over priced pies and drinks.

selling off free to air rights so if ya dont pay ya dont see it anymore.

greedy greedy greedy.

now the castle is falling down they want those 'little people' to pay to keep em afloat!

where are all ya corporate mates now?

OK - without the useless rhetoric.

How much does one fork out for ' annual membership ' .

Ever joined - then why the outrage.

They that have/do - will figure it out - without outrage from others.
