ARE YOU ONE OF AUSTRALIA’S 10 MILLION WORKING TAXPAYERS ?
IF SO, PLEASE PAY $1,200 IN EXTRA TAXES EVERY YEAR JUST TO PAY THE INTEREST ON LABOR’S DEBT.
(Personally I would prefer the left and labor voters to pay this debt)
In 2007, when Labor came to power, the Australian Government was COLLECTING more than $1 billion a year in net interest payments on the back of a positive net asset position created by the previous Coalition Government.
Now, we are forced to pay $1 billion a month in interest payments just to service all the debt accumulated by the previous Labor government.
That is means for every one of about 10 million working taxpayers across Australia has to pay about $100 in tax each and every month, or about $1,200 in tax every year, JUST to pay the interest on Labor’s debt

Would you care to explain to me exactly what "living" I'm getting by voting Labor? I'm not aware of any.
It's just their nasty little way of saying people who vote Labor are either union representatives or welfare bludgers.

GOOD NEWS!
My grandson did his aptitude test for the RAAF today. He just phoned to say he did very well and has been given the option of several different positions. The only slight downer is that although he was offered the one he really wanted - carpentry - there is a 12 month wait till the next intake, so he may have to settle for one with a more immediate start. He and his partner are both over the moon and we all got a bit teary over the phone. We have promised her that when he has to go away to do his 12 week basic training we will fly herand bub over here for a holiday to meet all our family.

I'm not sure, Supernova. It was a bit hard to get any details - we we're all trying to talk at once.
I'll ask him once things have settled down a bit.

Congrats to your grandson and tell him to grab the offers with both hands as there is a career in the defence forces and once in you can go anywhere and go as far as you want to.
Your grandson sounds like someone that wants to get off his .... and make a go of his life and build a future for himself and his family....
You sound very proud of him she el and so you should be....
