lol.. like we needed a survey to tell me that....

but maybe the rest of the population needs to know..

Thanks Az...

Which reminds me...

I was sent this link... at first I thought "oh funny" but as I progressed through the pics I thought "oh oh".... this kid looks so Aspie...    I wonder if the mother will look back in a few years time and wonder if she just photographed a chronological line of her sons Aspie symptoms to show to the paediatrician??

Oh sorry, the bit I wanted to show was this....the survey thing was a bit laughable.

Over the next three years, parents of children with special needs in Queensland, Victoria and New South Wales will be offered free parenting support through Triple Pโ€™s Stepping Stones program to improve their confidence, resilience and competence.

Professionals such as allied health therapists, teachers, nurses and community workers in these three states can also apply for free Stepping Stones training and resources.

Queensland is the first state to benefit from the SSTP project, with free training available from May this year and free parenting support from June.

hm.. I think the Triple P programs are very good... have you ever done one?

I think ALL parents should be given the chance to do it...

I sort of get where they are coming from.. even if it is to connect with other parents that are going through the same experience...

we were offered it when Mr 15 was very young because his ODD tag...

but today when I wanted him up and out of the house the only thing that worked was my LOUD voice... no.. I needed my VERY LOUD voice...   even that needed assistance with a threat to take the PC away unless he got into the car...

I nearly left home today because of it all...... I might have even dropped a bad word.. but I was so angry I can't remember...

I have not done one but I agree, all parents should have the opportunity to do one.

That sounds like a bad day......

It was a bad moment... after we went out and got to the gym all was forgotten and when we came home all was fine...

I find it so frustrating...... I get all wound up and explode and then he does what is required and moves on like nothing has happened... he stays calm and I am left an emotional wreck... I worked really hard to not stay angry...

ok.. so school started back and that same day we had stomach issues arising .. after three days he was too sick for school

I made the decision to discuss homeschooling...

All we are waiting for is some paperwork and most of his schooling will be done at home under the guidance of the school. he will go to school when he needs to for some subject but he hopes to do most of it at home.

So for those that do it how did you set yourselves up?

I am at a bit of a loss... he will need to prove he is able to guide himself and do the work... he has this term to prove is is capable...

How can I help him get set and and into a good routine?
