Those are some great breakthroughs! one thing I have observed is that as our kids get older they seem to suddenly cope with some (not all!) things that previously caused them so much trouble.

When it happens it is such a big step, you can't help but be proud of them, but 2 in a week - that is excellent Kiwi ๐Ÿ™‚

Aww shucks. Thanks girls, it's so nice to have people understand instead of looking at me as though I am nuts for giving a damn about such "trivial" things. :-x:-x

Well done Kiwiโ™ฅ

I hear exactly what you mean. We have to praise the SMALL things, because nothing is SMALL for our kids.

Sleep isn't good here again, and all that has been the same has changed dramatically, so have had upheaval for a long time now. In the long run this change will be for the better, just hard to deal with as it happens.

Doc again tomorrow, got some strange results in blood tests, and i am going in - B says that is ok.

I have to at times, because she feels that when someone asks her how she is, she has to say fine thank you - *HITS HEAD AGAINST WALL* Not with doctors I tell her.
But then her doc has learned to be more direct with questions and will get proper answers, I think at times she is training him.

I am going to drop in here more often, at times i feel like a ring in as B is an adult, but damn it, I will come in anyway:-p

It doesn't matter that B is an adult, all touched by (or interested in) Autism are welcome here :-x

I am assuming that B is the one having trouble sleeping? What have you tried for it? Cam is taking Melatonin successfully, do you think it would help her?

al cat do drop in regulary pretty please:-x

I really believe we could learn so much off you! My girls are getting older now and even though the older two have other complications, I am so interested in what its like for those with adult children.

I actually think you are pretty amazing and I hope things settle down for you and B and you all get some sleep soon.

I think the small things are pretty amazing too, those little steps in life that seem like major milestones for our kids. It is so wonderful when they beat the odds and breakthrough in ways we never thought possible!

Our kids never cease to amaze us!

Her psych is still trying to sort out the medication nightmare set up by barwon health.

B is having trouble sleeping - which means me as well. But we have had worse times with it. Hoping this week sees some positive moves.
