Come and have a cuppa, share your joys, and vent your problems with other people who understand.
I don't know what normal is anymore

I am hoping it's just beause he is overtired. He was sick all during the holidays and has never caught up on sleep, now I think he has got into the viscious cycle of being depressed because he's tired and not sleeping because he is depressed.
I'm keeping him home tomorrow & we will spend the next 3 days having fun with him & trying to make sure he is tired enough to sleep.
If he's still the same on Monday, I will take him to the GP.

Well, I am happy for once!!! ๐
Cam's teacher has gone on 5 weeks long service leave and Cam just loves her replacement. He is happy, smiling and wanting to go to school.
How can I arrange it for her to stay for the rest of the year???????

I had a mental health day for DD yesterday, best thing I could do. I undid some of it though by chatting to her teacher and making her aware of how DD feels. I hope I did the right thing its so not easy sometimes....
Her teacher told me that DD is looking for a soul mate a friend who will accept her but sadly probably won't find it due to her limited social skills.
Its not fair sometimes ๐

I was 27 before I found a friend like that, so I know how she feels. :_|

Drew is a sensitive soul, into the arts and music. Doc told him he should be proud that he can feel so deeply. :-x
Doc also let him know he should be even more proud of talking about it to Mum & the Doc. That not everyone is happy all the time.
He said as we headed out the door, "Don't worry Andrew, you're perfectly normal."
To which my beautiful boy replied - "Define normal!"
Even the Doc smiled at that. :-x:-x
(this Doc has been one of hubby's family GPs since the late 70s, has an interest in hypnotherapy and counselling and has an ASD child)
So Drew has been advised to lose himself in a good book (something he does regularly) and do more physical activity he enjoys (like swimming.)
