Abetz: Breast cancer linked to abortion.

A day or so after our PM and Brandis came across as dills for not being able to explain their own policies. Abetz has come out and told us all that there is a link between breast cancer and abortion.

Is there ANY intelligence to be found in ANY individual in our current government?

Did they specifically recruit the dumbest possible candidates to sit in cabinet or what?

it also has nothing to do with the drug, the so called "evidence" that abetz was talking about was in 1957, that drug was not around then. The same mob say that homosexuality can be cured (as if it's a disease), they are cranks.

IMO there may well be documented proof that an abortion inducing drug that was used as early back as from the 1950's through til even late 1990's ...for example the French abortion Inducing drug (i think they make/made this) what if it were true that RU 486.....has caused breast cancer in women that have been administered this drug and similar drugs too??

Women have always been guinea pigs for the pharma/research companies.     Yes I agree. I am sure more 'testing' by drug companies is done on humans than we know about

It would definitely be in the AMA's best interest to say that they are 'pretty' certain.....but 'pretty certain' is not a scientific conclusion it is a preferred/advised legal phrase adopted in defence to deflect responsibility and liability and guilt IMO.

No matter your belief system or your ethical stand, women's safety and health is my concern. There's nothing pretty about this serious issue.

The point everyone seems to be missing here is that when you take HRT or cancer medications you are always warned about possible side effects - I certainly was when I took HRT. If there was really a possible  link between abortion drugs and breast cancer, then  women atking an abortion drug  would be warned about it - failing to do so would leave the prescribing doctor open to legal action should the patient develop breast cancer - and doctors aren't stupid...

Am sure that there may be concerns that because surgical procedure abortion -vs- drug induced abortion procedure have a huge cost factor difference, women in many parts of the world are being encouraged  to opt for the 'cheaper' drugs rather than being offered the surgical option in a safe, professional establishment with qualified and  medically trained supervision.

We would all be quite naive if we believed that procedures and medicines and drugs etc did not have contra-indications.

It is this naivety that has allowed many deaths and other terrible results to occur.  Think thalidomide.  Think the horrific results of research on HRT which led my doctor (who was a leading HRT proponent and researcher) to immediately take most of her patients off the drug .

Last night Ross Walker, prominent cardiologist, stated that more deaths occur from prescribed drugs and treatment than from road trauma.

Most people still view their doctors as all-knowing gods who must be believed without question.
