Dave-toughen up--still 35 degs here been hotter-no air con.
I just wait til the temps the same inside as out -open all the doors and windows.
Put my head under the cold shower at times and have the pedestal fan
cranked up-then wear a path to the fridge and back.lol.
Beats the mongrel 12-14 degs max temps from recently...............Richo.

i can take the heat, its the 3 pets, foo, rosie and chris the canary that dont do so well.
foo in particular doesnt do well in very hot weather, i think its a greyhound trait, once the temp goes over about 29c he gets the whole panting hang dog look going.
i woke up at 5.30 this morning to get him out and back before it got hot, i wouldnt have taken him out this afternoon but he made it clear he needed a toilet break.
if i had a back yard i could have a little swimming pool for him but i dont, they say greyhounds like to flake out in shallow pools.
so he stays inside with a fan on him.

Foo sounds like he's a lucky boy to have someone who cares so much for him - good work David

It's been warm here in Adelaide all day and the inside temp hasn't dropped below 30. (30.7 at the mo) No air con, just an occasional electric fan, but it's bearable.
It's sort of like a reverse European winter. For those over there as for us here, it's not the weather to be outside in.

Welllll...
I remember a few years back sanding and painting the outside of the house in 47 degrees...to get it ready for awnings to be installed.
Now that, was excruciating so I understand your pain.
