If it wasn't for yesterday, you wouldn't have found today as pleasant, would ya?

We all need comparisons

I feel for you David... It didn't get quiet that hot here in Melb.. But it was hot enough for us - enjoying that cool change right now

i would have found todays temp a nice change had yesterday been 34c

going to 44c was just being silly

actually i like everyday its around 24c, dont need it any hotter or colder.

btw, did anyone notice my new floor in the picture with foo? i mentioned some time ago i was planning on ripping up carpet and replacing with floating flooring.  got it done about a week ago.

To be honest I was too busy admiring your boy,  but I've gone back and had a look and well done is what I say, very nice/

Gotta be honest - didn't notice, but I now remember you talking about it.

Looks really good.    Are you liking it?     Or rather is Foo liking it?

A lot of dogs don't like to slip around on floating floors.

With a dog and a cat, you'll notice a lot more dust bunnies on that floor

the front rooms/area - lounge, dining and kitchen were done years ago so foo and rosie are quite used to the smooth floors.

but they have both had a few moments on the new floor.

especially rosie when she does her post toilet visit mad cat running through the house routine.

i have put a new rug on the window side of the bed where foo likes to 'hide' to make it easy to get up and down.

i'll get one for under his bed too when i can find one the right size thats in my price range.

foo is from the south australian branch of GAP, Greyhound Adoption Program for ex racing greyhounds

http://www.gapsa.org.au/

a group of greyhound lovers doing their best for as many exracers as they can. until the recent greyhound baiting/ban incidents they were very poorly funded, i believe funding has been increased substancialy since. hopefully many many more will find loving homes post racing.
