...Abbott has no plans to cut back on spending nor is he planning on cutting back on our countries debt.
So all that shrill panic from the Liberals about our dire economic situation was just dishonest waffle then was it?
An Abbott government would let the federal deficit blow out rather than break a spending promise, Tony Abbott says.
Asked what he would do if faced with a choice between honouring his spending commitments and keeping his pledge to return the budget to surplus, Mr Abbott told Fairfax Media in an interview: ''You'll notice we haven't said we're going to get to a surplus by a particular date.''

Joe Hockey - the greatest Treasurer on earth...* snigger *.
Remember all the times shadow treasurer Joe Hockey furrowed his brow, shook his jowls and growled that Australia had a budget crisis? Turns out he was only joking.
Either that or his โcostingsโ disclosure is a joke. Or both.
"Itโs not unreasonable to claim that the Coalition isnโt making any savings worth mentioning".
After all the huffing and puffing, Hockeynomics is only proposing a $6 billion improvement in the budgetโs cash bottom line over four years. In light of the past four years of hyperbolic fiscal posturing, this is genuinely astounding.
Even if you take year three and four budget projections seriously (and you really canโt, as everyone should now know), that works out to be an average improvement of $1.5 billion a year on a $400 billion budget โ all of 0.375 per cent. Itโs not even a rounding error. A half-decent Queensland storm can blow that away in half an hour.

I agree with Azure. I think he looks unwell. Maybe he's hungry.

Feel better? Now all hold hands and sing:
Someone's crying, Lord, kumbaya
Someone's crying, Lord, kumbaya
Someone's crying, Lord, kumbaya
Oh Lord, kumbaya

Deb I read he was suffering from hay fever and did not have any antihistamines.
Hay fever, coupled with the heat of the lights and some understandable degree of nervousness, perhaps explains his excessive perspiring.
Don't suffer from it myself but I feel for those who do, particularly at this time of the year.
