I have concern that no where do they say ban. And phase out....that could mean 10 years.

Thanks for posting this Twinkles.......   I agree with what you say but at least they are doing more than the Libs whose

concern with animals is zilch. btw I'm apolitical , it's just a general comment I'm making.

I suppose it depends on the fine print re the phase out period, I guess they need to consider the business repercussions as well. Financially it may bankrupt some.

I doubt puppy farmers declare an income so thet would either have to get a regular job and delare how they jad been supporting themselves and pet shops that have ceased to sell pets seem tp be doing ok financially selling food grain etc

I note there has been no mention so far of backyard breeding

I think puppy sales have been banned from NSW petshops? Not positive, but I know the chain store pet shop only have RSPCA and rescue animals in their shops now
