i don't recall you refuting the 'million or so' some media outlets were claiming. 6000 or 28000 still pales in comparison to a 200,000 salary for attending 1 meeting a month and a potential 10 to 20 million in anyones book.. the fact that sinodinis will not get the 10 -20 million now is kind of irrelevant , thomson doesn't get to keep the markedly smaller amount either. thomson did however do his job.
then there is the matter of diverting funds into the liberal party as donations, something it appears he was the only board member that was aware of.

The crook has stood down:-)
Do you have proof he is a crook? Has he been charged or is it just ICAC doing their due diligence on the massive Labor crook Eddie Obied and following the trail.
So far this is all it is unless you have proof otherwise..... So do you?
After all, precedent has been set by the Labor party. His defence can be he was young and naive at the time and as soon as he found out Eddie was a crook he split up from him. Followed by, “I did nothing wrong.” (wonder who keeps on saying these words)
Everyone in Labor and most of the media were quite happy to accept that from Gillard. Surely they will be just as happy to give the same treatment to Sinodinos, won’t they?

well, he wasn't young and naive lol
he had a meeting with Obied's son. though he didn't know they were involved LOL again

Pyne is nothing if not funny at times
''Arthur Sinodinos's decision to quit the frontbench while a corruption inquiry takes place is "not in the least bit damaging", Christopher Pyne says, as the Opposition labels the move a "blow" to the Government's budget preparations.''
not damaging at all .. whats all the fuss then chris ? ever the optimist pyney .. got to give you that .

very hypocritical of the LNP and typical of their one eyed supporters....
pretend it didnt happen and it might go away......nuh, not for lnp and not for anyone
everyday i am gobsmacked at lnp and supporters hypocrasy and penchant for hiding things and sweeping stuff under the carpet
I don't find it at all hypocritical as a supporter of the LNP, I choose to read a few threads here and don't comment on very many whether it be a thread about Labor mistakes/corruption or LNP mistakes/corruption.
I find that most posting on the political threads are rabid one eyed supporters of one of the two major parties and I find such closed minds to make for very boring threads.
If a supporter cannot accept that someone on their side of politics has done something wrong then they don't do any party any good.
It is the rank and file memberssuppoters vocalising their outrage at the behaviour of very small number in the party that will improve any party.
Until some posters here, be they LNP or Labor supporters can accept there is possible corruption within the party they support then those who really do care won't bother posting.
This forum's political threads are all about point scoring which is about as far removed from a discussion as you can get.

interesting, there has been quite a few ALP supporters on CS that have criticised the ALP for all sorts of things = from corruption to their shameful asylum seeker policy, LNP supporters on the other hand....well...it's only early.
