Anti-Islam party to contest next election Australian Liberty Alliance

CONTROVERSIAL anti-Islam Dutch MP Geert Wilders has revealed that a new party defending western values will be launched in Australia.

In a Youtube message, Mr Wilders said he would visit Perth next year to help launch the

Australian Liberty Alliance, which he described as a freedom party.

“Many of you are disappointed with current political parties and have had enough of politicians who sell out western civilisation,” he said.

Mr Wilders, whose Freedom Party is popular in the Netherlands, was the subject of rowdy protests by far Left groups when he toured Australia in February last year.

His views were condemned by several political leaders and in some cases he had to find new meeting venues when worried hosts cancelled bookings.

His visit was sponsored by the Q Society, an Australian “Islam-critical” group which is organising an international seminar this weekend in Melbourne.

no we don't need hate, but we do need politicians who are not afraid to protect our culture and way of life.

I'm all for tolerance towards other races and religions but i do believe they should fit into the culture of the country they have adopted, not turn that country into whateer unsatisfactory to them place they left.

Exactly and going into racist and hate rants straight off is unproductive and a tool to shut down any debate that might enlighten people.

I don't think calling people racists if they have a differing view is helpful.

Why is it OK for the greens/labor/left supporters  in Australia to hold anti Jewish anti Israel protests and rallies, why is ok for labor/green/left councils to try and ban any Israeli business from doing business with them and for the councils to protest against Israeli,  why is it on for the greens and labor types to try and close and to protest chocolate shops across Australia (Max Brenner)

Why is it OK for the UNI student unions (mostly labor backed membership) to become racist and attack Jews on campus?

This all seems OK if you are a green/labor/left supporter and supported and seems like double standards to me and very racist.

The list goes on and on of late in Australia with the labor/gree/left hatred of Jews and  Israel and their racist attacks on them and its on the increase and its all OK to the left

Why do the Greens/labor/left hate Israel so much?

Double standards and total hypocrisy

I don't hate the people from Israel. Why would I?

anti zionist is not anti jewish - there is a big difference, maybe  a little research is in order.

Anti-Zionism is opposition to Zionism, a nationalism of Jews that supports a Jewish nation state in the territory defined as the Land of Israel.[1] As a consequence, it also refers to opposition to some policies (such as the occupation of Palestine) or characteristics of the State of Israel and to the existence of the modern State of Israel.

The term is used to describe various religious, moral and political points of view but their diversity of motivation and expression is sufficiently different that "anti-Zionism" cannot be seen as having a single ideology or source.

Several commentators have claimed that anti-Zionism has become a cover for modern-day anti-Semitism. Other commentators, such as Noam Chomsky, argue that Israeli supporters often try to equate anti-Zionism with antisemitism, to silence opposition to Israeli policies.

Racism under any guise is still racism.

Gert Wilders is a  man who is standing up for his country when no one else will. He is saying what many are not willing to even though it's a bit like the the disgraceful attack on Jews and their businesses in this country, but not a peep about that from the Labor party and their adherents. Pretty disgraceful.

It will be interesting.

I think you will find that some of this countries most outspoken supporters of the state of Israel come from the ALP. Pretty disgraceful????

So, Nero, if this party got off the ground, and put up a candidate in your electorate in the next election, would you be tempted to switch allegience and vote for them?

Why is it disgraceful?  what offends you about that..

Do you support the protests and rasist attacks against Jewish people and against Max Brenner and what the green/labor/left councils have tried to do?
