CONTROVERSIAL anti-Islam Dutch MP Geert Wilders has revealed that a new party defending western values will be launched in Australia.
In a Youtube message, Mr Wilders said he would visit Perth next year to help launch the
Australian Liberty Alliance, which he described as a freedom party.
“Many of you are disappointed with current political parties and have had enough of politicians who sell out western civilisation,” he said.
Mr Wilders, whose Freedom Party is popular in the Netherlands, was the subject of rowdy protests by far Left groups when he toured Australia in February last year.
His views were condemned by several political leaders and in some cases he had to find new meeting venues when worried hosts cancelled bookings.
His visit was sponsored by the Q Society, an Australian “Islam-critical” group which is organising an international seminar this weekend in Melbourne.

We are a free speech Country ....like all things our free speech must be within the bounds of the Law.
It may sound better without acknowldeging the existance of our Laws though ...strange and bemusing that some in this party don't know or respect the Country's laws themselves but expect other people to do so .Do as I say not as I do type thing.
They seems worried about our Laws not being respected and they themselves think our Laws are irrelevant and seek to change them ...aren't they worried about things changing in our Country or not ?
or is it just who changes them..who doesn't respect them ect etc.
Or Gov is wanting to change a few things which may make the attack from all sides lawful ...
how does everyone feel about having what can at times be seen as OK to dish out to some...dished right back to them ?
It cuts all ways

what exactly would you be voting for?
I haven't yet seen a proposed policy from them.
We have freedom of speech but only within the law.
If this non-existent party "reflects the mood and feeling of so many in Australia" then I confess to remaining confused. How can a non-existent party and therefore non-existent policies reflect anything ?
What is this mood ? What is this feeling ? How many is so many ?

Speaking as an plder person who may or may not be PC, you don't have to try to be rude, it just comes naturally.

After watching Q & A on Monday and the vilification poured out by Ms langton I have no illusions that racism is alive and well in the country without an anti Islam party.

Yes, it was one of the best qandas for ages and no the description up there is completely untrue.
Marcia Langton was brilliant. As were Lisa Wilkinson and Sharri Markson.
The best was when they smacked down the obnoxious brandis. Marcia did well to not physically smack some old fool that must have got bolt to write his question.

It has caused a lot of trouble for the ABC and Langton. The defamation of Andrew Bolt was breathtaking and the downright untruths she uttered are strong grounds for a suit to be filed against her.
Lawyers were lining up yesterday to represent him in that endeavour.
Wilkinson showed just what a shallow feminist she is and her offensive repost to Brandis re white male showed that, she utters all the populist mantra of the modern day racist.

Thanks freaki, I will catch it on iview. I worked with Marcia during the Royal Commission into Aboriginal Deaths in Custody all those years ago, she was a passionate and erudite advocate for her people. An amazing intellect, heaps of integrity and I have enormous respect for her. Thanks.

I suspect Bolt might have a hard time defending his "defamation" but lawyers lining up?? really? Oh, well, they get paid regardless I suppose.
