Any nomads here?

Just wondering if there's anyone else here living permanently on the road (nomad style) interested in chatting with me now and then? OK with me if by PM or on open boards. Age/sex/relationships irrelevant as only interested in friendly chat now and then.

I have a 2011 Winnebago Menindee 26.5 footer and towing a tandem trailer loaded with my 4x4 with my 12 foot tinnie on top. Vic plates. What are you in/with?

Right now I'm parked up just outside Cooktown Qld and headed across toward Darwin soon but in no hurry

I'm often out of mobile internet areas but will try to stay in touch as best I can

Been on road just over 12 months now

I'll know the right place when I find it alright.

Some reasonable sized country town somewhere where there's a decent mixture of large and small animal patients needing my skills (I'm a Vet btw)

If your kid is out clearing shrub all day long around this neck of the woods he'll deserve a coldie or two at the end of the day so I wouldn't be depriving him of it 😉

My days of kicking kid's backsides are over and done with long ago. Been there, done that and don't plan on doing any more of it thanks 😛

My two are living back in the UK with my ex now, or perhaps I should say they are doing their own thing over there by now, but what I don't know about and not seeing for myself ain't hurting me (too much :|)
