Bill Shorten has crawled to PM Turnbull with a few options for unions to mitigate the damage to himself when the Royal Commission releases it's findings.
What is wrong with this picture?
Why didn't he act on the corruption before this? is he only going to act on it now to save his own skin?

Hi everyone,
This thread is getting off topic. Can we please bring the discussion back to "Anybody want to talk about Shorten's parlous state".
Thanks.

Sorry Luna. It's a parlous state of affairs when a political thread goes off topic. We should all shorten up those long, rambling posts.

Good try to totally derail this thread but now we know that the poor state Shorten finds him and his party is no laughing matter.
Victoria is now the worst state for Shorten and Labor.
I suppose for the left it's more palatable ignore it as usual and hope things get better for the stocks of labor but Turnbull is being urged to go early to capitalise on the stunning turnaround he has brought since becoming PM.

Who wants to talk about Shorten?
I don't think anybody does.
Shorten is a selfserving, selfopinionated egomaniac who is only concerned to catch the limelight and yearns to become PM.
Like a lot of the pollies, he is not concerned about the country or its people.
As long as the Labor party can't find a better leader, they won't get my vote ever again.
Rudd, Gillard and now Shorten.
Enough said.

You are right, thatโs why nobody wants to discuss him and his machinations that deposed sitting prime ministers and destroyed any chance of Labor winning power anytime soon.
