Anyone else into seeking their ancestors?

I have become adicted to Ancestry.com and am lucky enough that one side of my family can be researched way back into the dim times.

The other side has hit a brick wall and I have to wait until someone else in the world may have more information.

How is everyone else going?

A gorgeous bub Flashie. She looks like a baby doll. :-x

Love the knitted outfit too! My daughter refused to put her daughter in anything knitted. ๐Ÿ˜ž

Well named flashie :^O she's a beauty and all that hair! My daughter had the same.

Love the knitted dress, that's lovely, did you do that? How nice to see a baby in knitted clothes again.

My grandies were living up north and were born in summer so knitted garments were not accetable which I found so disappointing.

Congratulations to your daughter.. my word she's done well.

Congrats Flashie! What a tonka! Soooo thankful mine weren't that big.

Flashie, there has been a subscription change with state library of Tasmania to the Ancestry library edition, it's now available in all branch libraries not just the city libraries. I had a quick look last night at work but I didn't like it all that much. I was hoping to view an electoral roll for Fitzroy and Footscray for around early late forties early fifties.

And I just submitted my ecensus and I couldn't find anywhere I could save it to my hard drive. Maybe I dreamt reading it, cos ya'll knew nothing about it. I would have liked it saved to my computer but I will just have to be satisfied the info will be released in 100 years.

What is the difference between an ordinary ancetary subscription and the library one.....is the library one world wide.

I was glancing through a genealogy supplies website the other day and came across a baby bib with this on it;

"I'm the newest sprout on the family tree"

I thought how cute!
