drains? As far as I remember my sister had no drain. Well at least not after she came out of hospital and that was only a couple days?
Ive had a drain in my belly after an ovarian cyst, it tickled as they pulled it out. It was an odd sensation having the inside of my belly tickled

drains scare me
decades ago i had a collapsed lung and treatment was a chest drain, after a week of beng in the doctor grabbed with both hands with his knee on the bed amd in my back snd reefed the drain out...i wi'l never forget it...
these days
theynuse silicone drains that dont 'stick',apparently

After a large operation I had yrs ago, they had to knock me out to take the drains out, seems they had attached themselves to me..........just the thought, would put me off,

20 days post op
been back to work a week and its killing me! definately needs a minimum of 3 weeks post op recovery
the tummy is fine but the back aches are beyond words....seems even tho i sit at a desk all day theres no respite from the ache, in fact it aggravates it
so 20days post op and all this aches, i ask myself...would i do it again?,YES but i would plan for minimum 3weeks at home.....i only had 2 weeks sick leave so had to return. i underestimated the imme.diate post op recovery and could not have done it without the help and support of my son and daughter, they have been amazing.
and finally, am i pleased with the results so far???
ohhh yeah baby!

I've been staring at my flubber belly these past two weeks and thinking of you Fiesta. Not that you had a flubber belly, I was just wondering how you were going. I'm glad you're happy with it. I imagine the scar is a lovely reddy purpley colour. It will fade to skin colour eventually. Should your back still ache after 3 weeks? Do you get up and walk around every half hour? I don't know if it should still be sore or not
