Greg Page (yellow wiggle) is involved in putting Defibs around homes after suffering a heart attack.
I have signed up to have a defib at my house, anyone else ?
(If Richmond Tigers keep having these close games, I will need a defib) 😁
Seriously, I think it's a great idea.

I didn’t see it, but I’ll sign up to that right away.

A great idea.
But to be accessible to 40 odd homes - how would one prevent it being nicked.??

Yes, there will probably be a little of that but I think once these units are everywhere they won't have much value to steal. Only value to those needing one at the time.
I have an entrance hall before the doorway so it can be inside the security screen door even though that screen is always unlocked. The unit can't be seen but location known to the neighbourhood.

There would be ways around it - a lock with a ???? digit code - known only by the direct neighbourhood etc.
One in every lobby of an apartment block.
I'd be just tempted to purchase one - put it beside the fire extinguisher.

Thought the same thing. The article says to hang it on a wall or fence?
I should probably put my hand up for one - I have angina.
