In my view there is a vast difference between passionate debate (heated discussion) and interpersonal dispute.
I agree that interpersonal anything should be given the chop but discussions that adhere to the rules of debate and address the issue are NOT interpersonal in their nature
Without debate society would still be in the cave.
Moderators may I make a suggestion? ............Thank you.
Do not be too hasty in your judgement as to what constitutes an "Interpersonal Dispute".
In a lot of cases interpersonal disputes are veiled so as to appear innocent the do not get the proper treatment that they so richly deserve. I realise that Lithum moderators are only noobies to this site and are not aware of the forum dynamics as yet, let us hope that the learning curve gets accelerated as time passes.

I hope the mods read this thread Pod.
The forums are a wasteland, desolate, bereft of any debate, no argument brooked?? even if it is an intellectual to and fro between differing opinions.
I have heard the UK boards are nearly deserted, I know one had joined Aus CS in desperation.
