Are those KFC bucket hats greasy?

I have not seen them but I would imagine if people are wearing the empty 'buckets' from KFC then they'd be used ones. Hopefully rinsed out.

But the question is: Why?

You could always ask someone you see wearing it I guess.

If you watch the Cricket, you will see hundreds of KFC buckets on peoples heads. There they are yellow and green.

I assume the buckets are new and sold to fans.

Green and gold buckets being sold for cricket season.  Bought one last night full of

chicken - half full of oil!   Didn't see anywhere where you could buy them unused.

But then,  I didn't want one
