I come here because ebay provides a safe moderated inviroment to socialize with like minded people,
ok.. I get the safe bit but like minded people???? Why do we all need to be like minded????
To me that is the most ridiculous reason to post here.. I like to come here because of the variation of opinions and ideas... I have learnt a lot from many people here because they are not like minded.
If I wanted like minded then I would go to a forum of like minded people.
It was partly because of discussions here that I changed my mind on Gay Marriage... isn't that the idea of communicating and debating??? To grow as a person and gain something special from those interactions?
Even when I debate people here from the left I gain something... I learn to keep my mouth shut.... every interaction is a learning experience.
