My interpretation of what you've bolded there is that  it's supposed to be a community here, where most like to come and have a bit of fun. Not be berated over their political leanings.   

Eg. Some of my family and closest friends may vote differently to me, but we don't call each other names over it.

I actually feel sick reading the hate filled threads on CS, either ebay do something about it or i'm out of here. Life is distressing enough without the interpersonal violations of hate being posted by the same person with different ID's day in and day out.

Don't tell me not to read them, ebay should be doing something about the violations.  I come here because ebay provides a safe moderated inviroment to socialize with like minded people, so why is it we are subjected to this disgusting hate and personal attack and  the provider of the spam and hate continues on a daily basis with more and more of the same?

When is this going to STOP why isn't someone doing something about this?.

There is a simple solution to that, one that is recommended by eBay, they have even provided a mechanism to help those who are unable to have self control in reading some poster's contribution,and I will second it, on the second line below a poster's avatar there is a blue ignore just activate that and then you can be safe 🙂

Don't read any thread that will make you ill 🙂
