At what age did you start going grey?

Just curious.

My brothers are aged 32 and 36.  The 32 year old (light brown hair) has the most grey hairs of all of us, and the most stress free life.  My older brother has dark brown hair, and only a few grey hairs.  I am 34 with honey blonde hair and don't have any (my hair isn't coloured!).  I always thought I had some but you couldnt see them as my hair was fairer, but the hairdresser says nope, none!

My dad didn't start going grey until his mid 50's but my mum was having highlights to blend hers into her 30's.  Both my parents have dark brown hair.

I don't think grey hair has to do with stress as my life is the most stressful and I have none.

I read once it was related to time spent in the sun, which makes sense as I spend very little time outside.

Just curious as to other's experiences.

My mum was grey by 30 but at nearly 70, I only have a few on the sides.  Our son is half grey at 37.  I can remember a kid at high school that had grey hair.

I've always liked the look of grey hair.

I heard if you go grey early you don't go bald.

Early 20s. My mother, sisters and now nieces all about the same, but none of the males in our family are grey.

I coloured it for so many years I had no idea what stage of greyness it had got to.  Then I stopped last year.  I love the pure silver it is now and it is such better condition now that I'm not pouring chemicals onto it every few weeks.  My curls, which I thought I had lost, have come back too.

The other day I said to a friend, who just had her hair done in the sort of salt&pepper streaks, that I always wanted to have hair like that.  She gave me somewhat startled look and said;  "But you do".   Ooops, I did not notice LOL  So not sure when it started.
