Can you please let your tech dept know that the search engine for the boards is incorrect ie: threads are all over the place, when searching by most recent.....thanks

From that link -
Weโve rigorously tested this update to ensure a seamless deployment with minimal impact on legitimate users, ensuring thereโs no associated downtime

Sure, that's working great so far.

Before implementing, the tech team should try their โupgradeโ on an isolated system
/ board where the change can be rolled back immediately if a problem arises.
The underlying issue is that businesses, their employees and their marketing team use words like โrigorouslyโ without being rigorous. Words are just a collection of letters to trumpet into the wind to the marketing division, rather than having an unequivocal meaning to convey something upon which one can rely.
It is problematic. Whoโs going to believe Khorosโ assurances in future? Not I. Will community contracts be safe? Businesses may be looking seriously at alternatives if Khorosโ tech team canโt fix this within a short time. Itโs already been too long in my view.

Exactly spot on
They have no interest in fixing a small, known issue
How does anyone know what else has gone wrong that they are unwilling to fix/address or even so much 'make an announcement' regarding
About as much meaning as a 'warranty' from a random eBay seller

(from the thread in the Technical forum - now so far down the page that I daresay it's all but invisible to everyone on these boards... which demonstrates the problem...)
Moderators, do you see what we mean?
The screenshot below shows just a handful of the threads which demonstrate this unworkable issue. The threads are not being sorted according to latest reply. To be frank, I don't know by what order they're being sorted. It seems incomprehensibly random.
Very soon it will render these boards unworkable. At the moment, perhaps especially because of this technical issue putting people off posting, the threads are moving slowly. Once there are more threads, or even more replies on older threads, it will move current active threads further and further down until they disappear from the main page - and they'll be rendered too hard to find for quite a few posters.
Khoros Tech really do need to address this as a matter of urgency.
Can you please communicate this to the Tech department, and have them look at the screenshot which at least shows a tiny fragment of the problem?

Total lack of care or interest
Given how long it has been and how many of us have reported it
on โ17-12-2024 08:43 AM
An issue where the order of posts within a thread gets mixed up has been happening to me for many months, but usually just on the threads with thousands of posts.
Sometimes I can see who made the latest post in the summary but when I click into that thread and look at the last page, the person's post is nowhere to be found.
If I am keen to see it, I go back, click on their name then onto replies and go through the list till I find it.
But it can be frustrating. Sometimes I find the latest reply is 3 or 4 pages back, so i never really know what I am missing.

"Given how long it has been and how many of us have reported it"
Along with eBay.com:
ebay community team
devon @ ebay
"We have passed this along for review to Khoros"
Etsy
Community Manager
"Thank you for your reports! We have escalated them to Khoros on your behalf and will update here, when we have more information
and goodness knows how many others.

And now it seems the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing:
To help with ensuring that we provide the best service possible with the appropriate resources, Khoros has annual holiday freezes for our infrastructure on the Khoros platform.
Winter Holidays Freeze: Monday 12/16/2024 12:01am PT โ Wednesday 1/1/2025 11:59pm PT
During these timeframes, no Production level changes (e.g.: infrastructure, manual plugin deployments, new launches, upgrades, etc.) will be approved or allowed to be executed.

Still no resolution, still no fix.
