ooak.........I have bulding disc in cervical spine and lower spine & have degenerative spinal disease.......had a bone density test a couple of months back.........result of that was my hip bones are thin, bones in my hands are soft and bottom of my spine is pencil thin.
I have an injection into my stomach every 6 months for my bones in the hope I will get some relief.
I can only sit for 20 mins. then have to stand up............Specialists have told me that I cant have any operations on my back. anyway too old now, I just live with the pain, like I have all my life...........having kids made my back worse.

Not trying to make light of people's aches and pains, just a little sidetracking.

you need to take special care not to have a fall with such low density bones take care
dr said same to me nothing we can do
its very depressing isnt it i want to do so many things i would even enjoy doing housework again !!! lol

Arvo all
Is this the hospital thread? Got my number.
I would love to listen to Miss Helena? With her mirror
Unfortunately, because of the concert, my ears are being assailed
with VERY LOUD KISS music ATM. So I can't hear her.
Leaving daughter's at 1 am - we were greeted by Magpie Junior
warbling at us. Aren't they supposed to be asleep at that time of nght?
Hope Helen is ok today. Bit of a shock to the system for her.
And on her own too. It's a worry
Richo - the smileys are the black and white icon in reply,
not the yellow one
Anyway 28 deg here and very bright and sunny

Good afternoon everyone.
Firstly - thank you all - a bit of support certainly goes a long way.
I thought the outcome was very positive.
Think if there was a dire problem - surgery would have been advised - all of that stent stuff.
Instead 6 odd weeks of keeping moving - not hard - once past the calf & ankle pain barrier - a walk in the park - as they say.
Did find these in a - mailbox ( don't know why all of a sudden these began to arrive ) catalogue.
Could be good for more excercise & very becoming to boot. ( No pun Intended ).
One could get rather Saturday Night Fever - wearing these.
Do people actually buy the strange things contained in the catalogue.
