On other threads, some ladies have mentioned, their OHs

I can bump this thead twice a day,so its easy to find.

Richo Not enough rain to get too excited about, drizzling now n humid ..... Sat outside on the front verandah for a while, reasonably cool out there, ..... Bought a cpl of the old fashioned type wooden mouse traps, they will to work better than the ones we have here ( well so he who knows everything, tell me lol )

Must get new glasses, when I 1st looked at the pic, I thought it was a spit roast, with a mouse toasting on it   lol   ..... Hounds would  either drink or spill the water

Or lick the peanut butter off.

Nothing funnier than watching a dog eating peanut butter.

It gets stuck on the roof of their mouths

I put out my neighbours bins and Gordons from number 11, he is pretty fragile.  I haven't heard anything apparently Iris in number 1 is stirring up Dianne in number 10, Dianne is bi polar and it is very cruel of Iris to do this, hopefully John can settle her down.

Sandy I do hope you are just tired and didn't get bad news girl.

Re: BLOKES THREAD-aimed at blokes-shielas welcome.

A very early good morning to everyone (Frank's snoring) Smiley Very Happy.

Sorry to worry you - We had to go to Morwell after my appointment as Frank had to renew his police check with the City for one of his vollie jobs and we called in to see our stroke friend & wife.  Ended up getting home very late last night.

I am very pleased with the results so far as nothing sinister has shown up.  Specialist thinks it is a different type of asthma with the thick, sticky mucous and the constant infections are making it worse.  Very strong allergies showed up to the house dust mite and mould.  (I knew about the dust mite as that is why Frank was told he had to do the vaccuuming when we were first married & we have no mould here as I know the dangers and keep our unit well ventilated and we both dry the shower each time).  Anyway, he wants me to stay on antibiotics long term at the moment, have a cat scan in 6 weeks and depending on those results, maybe send me to Melbourne to be desensitized.  The cat scan is also to check on the nodules on my right lung.  Oh, and helen (have to be in it), he thinks the pain is I have cracked a rib coughing!  He asked what type of vaccuum we had and was very pleased we had a dyson.  We vaccuum at least every second day (because of the dog) and regularly under the bed but I think I will wash all the bedding more often.  I don't mean sheets as they are done weekly, but the rest including the woolly underlay etc.  All in all, pretty good.

Our stroke friend is having intense treatment on his "dead" arm at the moment.  Two trips weekly to Melbourne and his arm  is in plaster at the moment forcing the hand open - they'll remove that one and set it back even further.  They are giving him botox treatment and are hoping to get some movement back.  The treatment goes for 12 months.

Linda, you are having fun and games in your units.  A bit like the "days of our lives".  You sound a good neighbour though - good on you looking out for others.

Oh, the catering was appreciated and enjoyed.  Good to get feedback and I can't get over how easy it was.

Waiting on an electrician friend today - we bought a new ceiling fan for the lounge as the current one only goes slow - enough to distribute the air conditioning but some days a fan on high would be enough.

Hope everyone is well and has a good day - I am going to walk today for the first time in a week .....
