Hips have given up on me. Time for a sit down.
Found I had to do other stuff before I lugged bricks. Bending up and down
is no good for either breathing or hips I've found out.
Maybe differnt states get different home pages Ooak, I dunno
I reckon I might get one cheaper somewhere. Maybe Target or Kmart
I remember they used to be a 'hot' item at Cash Converters years ago.
Unused. No-one wanted them. Like the slow cookers of the 80's
Everyone wants them now. I'll look in Cashies next time I'm going past

oh i wonder if they do , that must be it you would be able to find it im sure if it was there
strange but that has to be it
i think it is cheap because its the large sized one 17 L not 12L that would be to small for us hubby likes to have plenty left over for his
lunches , he never buys lunch cheaper and better for him to take it
i bet Richo could find you one at a cheaper price lol
rest up that bending is hard work

It's also HOT out there. 18 deg and very sunny.
Had to change - working up a sweat
Hope Richo ate some lunch and caught up with the kids

I duuno what size mine is, but can cook a large chook in it .... Am having roast beef today, usually use the oven but decided I am going to try the turbo n see what happens ... Always do my vegggie separately, cause I dont like "stuff" dripping on them
Am sure you find one Stawka, I had a slow cooker yrs age, called them a Crock Pot back then, didnt really like it, took to long to cook things, especially if I didnt get them into it early enough, wouldnt bother with one now.
Time to take it easy if you are in pain, not worth pushing yourself, you only pay for it later on ... been there, done that, may times
Gorgeous day here, washing done, vaccing is done, house is clean tidy for the next five mins lol ,.... Hubs has done 1/2 the lawns, they look so much better ..... Not sure when the rest will get done, might have to buy a sheep lol

What've you been up to Ooak? You've put the wrong dress on again. Hahahahahaha
No more dizzy spells from daughter.
I'll try and move some bricks now, before that wind gets too bad

lol we had one of those early crock pots it was carp ,,
we bought a huge slow cooker last year and love it , there heaps better now ( think its because the heat is in the sides and the lid is a
good tight seal ) and its a great size we get 8-9 serves from it
economical and a few no cook meals
we are all having good weather today
on 18-07-2016 01:49 PM
geez and i dident even notice lol
i will go change now
on 18-07-2016 02:12 PM
My Crock Pot wasn't carp, just took a while to cook stuff, I took a look at slow cooker recipes and they seems to take the same time as mine did. If guess it also depends what sort of food you like as well, I dont really like "stewy" type food, so wouldn't bother with one now.
Beef is cooking away in Turbo, so see how it goes, hoping ti turns out ok

That's it!! Done with outside for today. If it blows away I can't help it.
Too tired to be bothered anymore today.
Have to order my above ground bins next. But that will be next week maybe
Then the soil and mulch. Baby steps - it seems too big a job still
