Hi folks - just home after a lot of convincing.  Very, very sore.  They inserted a titanium rod the length of the hmerus,  Will write again when I can keep my eyes open.

Good morning richo and all.  Hope everyone is well - too tired to read back. 

Thanks Linda for relaying the message.  I was kidding myself that I would be able to post.  Anyway, it's all over except for the healing and getting flexibility back.  The night of the op was agony - endone, panadeine forte and targin helped.  Improving quickly though.  Had a ga and a nerve block and all went well.  They took an xray before I came home and they are very pleased with the rod placement.  You don't get much sleep though with hourly obs - I think that's why I'm so tired.

Waves to everyone - I'll catch up with the news when I am more alert.  Thanks everyone for caring.  All over woo hoo.
