Went off the air for a couple of hours. I was forced to use the phone 
Think I need a mower man to slash the back lawn first, before mowing, so I rang
a few. No luck. They're all just back from the holidays and spending the next
few weeks catching up on regulars.
I'll have to get daughter to hire a slasher. Dunno what else to do really.
I really think I could use your commandos Richo - just once.
Also had to ring the insurance co. about a couple of things. We chatted and
changed stuff. So, now I'm paying $30 month less for house and contents.
And..............I've sorted all my paperwork.......again! I can now see most
of the coffee table. Yay
Now to file them. I have little stacks of papers all over the lounge room
Dunno what went wrong with the puter, but nothing was working. Had to re-boot a couple of times, including a hard one. He's growling. Too many tabs.
But I'm only doing what was suggested

Stawks up to her ears - almost - in grass - and seems paperwork,
Ooaksy - doing OK - stick with it possum.
Finally did the rest of my Chrissy Shopping this morning - for the DD that has most things.
No - not Makeup - doesn't wear it - no - not clothes - only buys those when there is nothing clean left - yes - a girl needs shoes.
Well - no not a pair of spikes - doesn't wear those either - but - wait for it.
Everyone should have at least one pair in their wardrobe.????
These are designed by an artist - forgotten his name already - same colours as the 1970 Porsche Steve drove - Le Mans.

Richo, I think the grass might be a bit thick for a whipper snipper, if they're the
ones with the nylon cord. I need one with a bleeedin' big plastic blade on it.
Professional student, eh Helen? She'll finish this degree and then find another.

The paper sorting led to a ziplock bag in the filing system. Inside this bag was
the daily paper from the twins' birthday in 1992.
It was taking up too much room, so I decided to move it. I chose the bottom drawer
of my bedside table, cos I never use it.
Never use it is right! I found 3 pairs of sandals that I've turned the house upside
down looking for, for the last 2 years.
Bonus - hardly worn.

Finished watching - ' The Fall ' - Gillian Anderson (X Files - I think )
Now onto - ' Black Sails ' - Toby Stephens - son of Maggie Smith - and - is he like her - oh boy.
Noticed I can get - SBS On Demand - on this here new DVD thingy - as well as Netflix (DD pays for that).
Richo - wish you could learn to drive a DVD player - it would all be at your fingertips.
And really not hard - but think you could do with a new arial first.
By the way - am thinking of changing frocks for posting - not so sure my selling ID is any longer a good idea.
But - having difficulty coming up with a catchy ID.
Running a comp here - winner with the best suggestion ( keeping ourselves nice at all times of course ) - will get a delivery of - Chocolate - barrels of it.
