Been meaning to ask Ooaksy - how many more days to go - must be more than halfway through?????
Richo - this could be a result of trying to give up the beer etc - too turkey.
Instead of weaning - the body gets used to things - big changes affect it.
Will wait till you get back from Docs.
Good you are on the improve JV - lol abut being overseas when **bleep**ttt happens.
Know all about that with my leg.

Ooaks you are probably talking about Lactulose. Very effective for folk with liver problems that need to stop toxins building up in their body....or a blockage.

Arvo all,
Yes, Linda, it's the toxins building up that has me worried about Richo.
Richo, I wish you'd gone straight to the hospital this morning. With your BP this could
get worse quickly. Not to be funny, but it's what happened to Elvis, and a friend of mine.
My friend had a heart attack on the throne, and his mother found him, cold, in the morning. Your BP puts you straight in the line of fire.
Never, ever, ever let it get this bad again.
I hope, for your sake, it's an easy fix.
At daughter's. Head down as usual. BBL to see the results.

I am good JV. Going to Specialist next Tuesday. Expecting her to up the dose of Orencia to full amount, and stop cortisone, then we will see what happens. If this fails I will just be taking pain killers., and I will survive. When these flash city doctors start asking about my painkiller regimen I tell them to **bleep** off, yes, I know I will get bleeped for that. I tell them my GP and I review that every month and they are not touching it. Shuts them up and they go away but if I am not firm with them they walk all over you.
Have lost an awful lot of strength in my hands, don't know if that will come back but I am finding ways around it. You do what you have to to keep going, haha I am laughing now, cause I am ok.
Waiting, waiting........
on 24-05-2018 02:50 PM
Dom 15 done.... 10 to go , so getting there
Richo ...... fingers crossed that is all you need , but over time i have been told at different times by 2 nurses
that they sometimes have to extract it manually ....... i know it's hard to believe but true
what a horrid job and experiance for the patient
i cant wait for you to get back and keep up the water
Linda you could be right but i have no memory of the name , it was thick and in a very big bottle lol
JV.... gosh yes thank goodness you were not away , you sound like its slowly getting better but take care and rest up
i will prob beat you to sleep again tonight lol
on 24-05-2018 02:59 PM
good on ya Linda tell um where to stop off
when you live with serious pain day in day out , they have to realise that quality of life is important
peeps like you and i dont take painkillers for nothing or the fun of it
yes all medication has some sort of risk but if used responsably they can make 'getting through another day worthwhile"
i hope your hand strengh gets better im sure you have all the gadgets that help, like jar openers so i wont nag about them
