Linda, I hope you're high and dry....or at least able to bail water.
on 13-12-2018 02:24 PM
Linda, how did the morning tea go? Just as well it wasn't today with all the rain you're getting.
Cute photos ecar - wish I was that frog sitting by the river with a book.
Matt had to go to Melbourne yesterday stawka and said it was pouring this morning. We are
expecting thunderstorms here as part of that cyclone that has reformed and the big depression
down south. They say the entire east coast will cop it.
Met with our Morwell friend. I got back from the eye clinic in time to have a coffee with him.
Onky had to have the eye measured for the new lens. No drops and didn't take long. My eyes
are so bad, I'm not driving. Either Frank or Kim drives.
Hope you're getting lots of visitors richo and relaxing - don't do too much .

Oh that's no good Sandy, I am going to hate it when I can't drive (even though I say otherwise) but i hope it will get better for you.
ecar you do make me laugh.
We have had about 50 more up Greta way. More coming, because 3 rivers join here we have to be extra diligent.
.
Just getting visitors be back later.

Your visitors are game. Linda.
The Hume is under water, with motorists having to be airlifted out.

Got home, freeway on ramp to Melbourne was blocked and obviously the other side of Wang was too We are going toi lose power, the lights are flickering and the thunder is so loud, and here comes more rain, I will turn everything off and BBL

Goodness, I hope Matt is OK. He is on the way up the Hume in a B=Double.
I might get Kim to give him a ring.

Still more rain to come folks. This morning the Police and SES let about 15 trucks and vehicles through a barricade towards Wodonga. Some time later helicopters rescued 27 people from the said vehicles.. Sometimes the water rises a lot quicker than they think. Had ti check on my Trace and Matt. Matt is ok he can get to work ok. Trace works at Moyhu tomorrow, she will check emergency services before she leaves home..

I hope the weather's being kind to you, Richo...
Things haven't been too bad, here, today... Something of the order 20 ml fell across the day...
Not bad, but I could've done with half of that... I'm getting sick of having to wring out my ugg boots every time I come in from outside, ha ha.
I feel for the people down at Wang, and further afield... I see half an inch of water on the ground and grumble at the inconvenience... they're the ones facing the deluge, and dare I say, in the warmer days ahead, the "livestock" that have sought out higher ground... and by that I don't mean sheep, although that would be confronting, in itself... "I stepped into the laundry and there was a large ram standing next to the washing machine... I don't think I've got any wool wash, I muttered...", ha ha.
And if anyone so much as says "Droughts and flooding rains" I swear I'll make them read the entire poem out loud, standing on their heads, ha ha .
