Re: BLOKES THREAD-aimed at blokes-shielas welcome.

I know due to a subsequent medical discussion out of earshot of the medical person who lied to me.

I canโ€™t prove it to the level of evidence required in an enquiry.

Anyway, enough of that.

Iโ€™m on no caffeine today - grrr. Slightly upset tummy - soโ€ฆ Sauerkraut, yoghurt, baked chicken, coconut water, bananas, oat milkโ€ฆ but none of my favourite vegetables, most dairy a big no, no berries, no chocolate! It might need to be for 2 or 3 days. This is cruel.

Springyzone, yes, medical staff do sometimes forget to include the patient in discussions. Itโ€™s so good that you sought to make sure your brother was involved and informed.

Second-guessing yourself after making a decision re the catheter is a cat chasing its own tail, thoughโ€ฆ You know that. You did the very best you could. Iโ€™m sure that every decision you made was out of love.

Thatโ€™s sometimes all we can do.

Again - with respect - that should have been enough - the medical discussion with another.

But - enough.

Aaaagh! Even silver needles tea contains caffeine!

If donโ€™t want peppermint tea and I hate chamomile teaโ€ฆ Iโ€™m feeling a bit cranky.

Time for chicken soup.

Rooibos tea is caffeine free.  Not bad either.

Re: BLOKES THREAD-aimed at blokes-shielas welcome.

Ok - now this is a weird one.

For quite some time now the ' perfume ' I wore for years was discontinued - had enough to tide me over.

Now looking for a new one - I like as much.

I have now purchased 3 different perfumes - thinking each time - well that was an expensive bottle of water - the last ' Bloom ' by Gucci.

I cannot smell any of them - it seems I have lost my sense of smell. lol

We experienced nearly 2 months of dirt & dust from the construction next door - for which we were reimbursed for cleaning - but - at the time it didn't occur to me - the health side effects of this continual dust.

Any ideas. ??

Re: BLOKES THREAD-aimed at blokes-shielas welcome.

I have looked at so many.

This really is of no help - thank you.

I have Mint growing - I have pungent Basil.

I still have taste but no sense of smell.

And smell - is a taste.

Have a Dr appointment next week will discuss it with him.

Re: BLOKES THREAD-aimed at blokes-shielas welcome.

Thank you re Rooibos tea suggestion.

Mind you, Iโ€™m hoping this will be over soon so that can get back to my French Earl Grey and my Sulawesi coffee!

I ordered English Breakfast decaffeinated tea as a quick fix; it isnโ€™t the most wonderful tea but let me be grateful for small mercies.

Re: BLOKES THREAD-aimed at blokes-shielas welcome.

A few years ago, I went to a tea tasting/blending class and apparently rooibos is really high in anti oxidants, so one of the best ones to drink. So we were told.
