Jack could climb that to steal another golden goose. Itโs extraordinary - like Rapunzelโs hair but the other way around.

The staples of modern life that professor predicted a century ago
That is a link to an article about what a man, Professor Low, predicted for 2025.
He is eerily correct on many predictions but then again, he was an engineer, physicist and inventor so I guess he would have had some practical idea of the possible advances in technology and the 20th century saw a lot of changes in that field.
It says he invented the first powered drone and worked on the development of television so he was a man ahead of his time.
I'd love to see some predictions for 2125, but by people in science or industry, who have some real idea of where things might go.
I did read one of Low's predictions
However, Professor Low did have some more outlandish imaginings, such as that streets might one day be lit up by herbs, and that mind-to-mind electrical communication would be possible.
I don't think the last bit is outlandish at all, it is just we aren't there yet.
And I don't know about herbs, but some alternatives to electricity may one day be in use.
The more unlikely prediction to my mind was this one.
Although there were some duds, such as that we would be wearing one-piece suits made from felt
I wonder what promted that one?
Anyway, feel free to have a go-what do you see as happening in the future?
My prediction: The days of actually driving a car might be limited, although I cannot see cars as we know them as being off the road as such within the next 20 years.

Raining - a welcome relief to the heat - but I want the sun back.
Totally working on ' suing the Council' - and must admit it's looking pretty juicy.
And doing this I :
