Seems to be a lack of threads for blokes.
On other threads,some ladies have mentioned, their OHs
would post, but had no interest in most of the threads on offer.
I can bump this thead twice a day,so its easy to find.

Mum is doing well, but it alarms me every time her skin tears open like that. She likes walking about inside, so I’ve got to be eagle-eyed in case there’s a lurch or wobble or what-have-you.

I have to be careful with extra anti-inflammatory medication, as part of my regular medication for the cervical radiculopathy includes something contra-indicated for Voltaren, etc. Some rest, Panadol, and heat patches: they usually give some relief although it may take a day or two.

domino, stawka, have you tried those heat patches at all?

I remember having a fiendish reaction to a medication for motion sickness while I was at uni. It was as though all my nerve cells were irritated and jumping up and down. Very weird and unbearable sensation.

Stawks - I'm beginning to think it's the chair I sit in outside - where I Iove being.

There is one each end of the outdoor table - both very large armed wooden chairs - not awfully good for posture.

And I have been doing a lot f stuff online - research into Council carp - so spent a lot of time.

Perhaps an Officeworks ergo chair - if they have bamboo would surfice. 😂

Boo Boo - loves to play first thing in the morning - tripped me up - just before the stairs - thank goodness - DD heard the breaking plastic as I went onto the coin drawers - just a cut on the arm - all good.

LOL - not going into the whole hell hole - but can now actually get out of a chair.

I took mum and a good friend to a recital on Wednesday night. All Mozart, with a visiting German orchestra of superb quality, with fortepiano being played by one of the greatest pianists I’ve ever heard… and the concert arias sung by Siobhan Stagg, whose gorgeous soprano voice is perfect for this repertoire.

Mum did get a little agitated in the second half after sitting for so long, but all in all a wonderful evening. It was so good to catch up with this friend; I am aware of being a bit of a hermit lately.
