Magimix does it all. I love my Magimix’s manifold glories (in red).
If those onions weren’t so vicious, I’d be happy to chop or slice with my excellent Japanese knife… but just one onion gets to me like an evil ninja.
ambercat, I’d also heard about putting the onions into the fridge about 15-20 minutes before chopping off the fume-based end, and it does help… for the first two onions at least. imastawka’s “freeze the little stinkers” suggestion in combination with that is my go-to Great Onion Plan for the future.

Springy, what I have is a Tupperware Super Dicer - it dices (small and large) and slices.
The only thing I've found it won't chop is Swede, and I love Swede in soup.
And I also grate cheese for the freezer.
Whatever the agent is they put on grated cheese to stop it from sticking together, seems to upset my tummy somewhat.
Wrist/hand is much better today - pain is diminished. But still typing one-handed.

I forgot to mention, when I go into a chopping frenzy, I have some of these ziplock bag holders.
They extend and also fold flat for storage.
Makes it so much easier.

Ebay, I think. 🤔
They're apparently called Baggy Rack Holders - heaven only knows why.
You can start here, I guess

I use reusable silicon stasher bags … I’m trying to rid my life of plastic, but I know it is not going to be a complete victory. Plastic is ubiquitous in our lives.
Re swede - Magimix does it. Magimix does everything.
If anyone ever tried to steal my Magimix plus attachments, I would grind their bones to make bread while laughing grimly.

Thanks, I'll get a set.
I figure they will be handy for drying the bags I wash and reuse too

Great Stawks - the bags can be washed - hung upside down to dry and reuse.
Horse gets 2 bags a day - a peanut butter sandwich done with digestive biscuits - and carrots. LOL
