BLOKES THREAD-aimed at blokes-shielas welcome.

Seems to be a lack of threads for blokes.
On other threads,some ladies have mentioned, their OHs
would post, but had no interest in most of the threads on offer.
I can bump this thead twice a day,so its easy to find.
Give it a go---Richo.

Still making this "bleep" slice.

Make the pastry.

Refrigerate for 30 mins.

Line the tin.

Freeze for 20 mins.

Fill with riuce.

Blind bake for 15 mins.

Remove rice.

Bake for another 20 mins.

Let get completely cold.??  45 mins.

Mix filling.

Cook for 45 mins.

Still have the meringue to do.

Has 9 eggs, 7 lemons, 300mls double thick cream, 1/2 cup ordinary cream plus all the sugar, flour etc. and still have to whip some cream when eating.  First and LAST time I make this, no matter how good it is.  It is NOT going in my new recipe book .

Forgot to mention that the 2nd daughter gave me a top fathers day present.

Not a mongrel pair of those slippers i hate with no back on them.

A homemade pair of cushions (craft work)-lot of thought went into them.

Small squares with --VB--WA wild flowers-bookcases-cars etc.

My initials stitched in as well-was impressed......................Richo.

Sandy, I wont be making the slice, if you are having problems, then I would make a mess of it.

Had rest, feeling better, just had a biscuit and it didnt hurt, now just want ulcer to go away.

I have gone through a heap of scrapbook mags. and going to toss alot out, as they are out dated.

So, has made more room on the shelves.

Evening all
Turned out to be a pleasant day after the morning chill, long walk this afternoon around the harbour. Jazz had to smell everything and lift his leg....Every few metres takes twice as long...doesn't get the heart rate up.
Don't think I will be asking for your recipe Sandy.....hope it taste great after all that effort though.
Good you had a nice visit Richo with disturbance !
Off to cook something up for dinner ......haven't decided yet....son will be home and he has hollow legs!
