Seems to be a lack of threads for blokes.
On other threads,some ladies have mentioned, their OHs
would post, but had no interest in most of the threads on offer.
I can bump this thead twice a day,so its easy to find.

Richo, Frank's nephew has just arrived with the book.  Called West Gippsland Early Settlers 1900-1925 donr by the West Gippsland Geneological Society Inc.  Quit a few pages on the JOHNS family from Warragul incl. Frank's mum was Olive JOHNS.  Her father and 5 brothers worked on the railway.  Actually, Frank's mum worked in the Warragul railway cafe.  I can order it for $40 on line.  He's still here so best make coffee!

Freddie can u have the tiles painted......don't know of anyone that has had them done but....could the tiles be sheetfed over with something like a fake marble etc?

Bushie our tile is a small square cheap white tile.....with the silver grout.....just takes off the real flat look of the cement grey grout....doesn't look garish.

Got up to 33 and now it's back to 27.   Very strange.

Must be some showers somewhere nearby.

I've been wandering around Woolies, have half done my shopping for this week.

I'll finish it tomorrow.  Will have to wait for checkout to see if there are any vouchers.

Ants in the cat food again        She told me in no uncertain terms that this

was not satisfactory.

JV yes you could paint over them but with the prep work

it would probably cost as much and be as time consuming

as new tiles over the top of the ones that are there now.

The kitchen isn't too bad really just dated - and with the

new appliances I thought how much nicer it would look

with lovely white gloss tiles - my concern then was would

the tiles be laughing at the benchtop and cupboards. Like

most things - once you start improving things there's always

something else that needs doing  LOL

Freddie just be patient, one job at a time, you can replace tiles, soon.  My eldest is doing her kitchen up, really big job because it is a really old house.
