Stawka-just thinking.........if the ants like the cat food--lay a trail of it-
-towards the neighbours fence....
I like the way you think, Richo. But will it work?

Not as well as throwin' a snake over the fence Stawka, haha

How are you feeling today Linda? on the mend I hope .... had a cpl of "hotties" here, so today is a welcome change. Agree re taking one's time re renos, less change of making costly mistakes as well. Old houses are a bit of challenged but they def have far more character than the modern one's of today.
JV re the kitchen tiles, I have fiddled n faddled about it 'cause there is a degree of difficulty 'n hubs wasnt sure how to tackle it, now we are getting a tiler in to do the bathroom wall n floor, they can do the kitchen ones at the same time and it will be done. I saw one online I like, its whitish which a marbled grey thought it, would really suit the colour of the kitchen bench but I would need to see in in real life before I bought them

Lookin' good Freddie. Not only do you have my fridge, you have my kettle as well.
Only mine's gunmetal grey
Your bench top comes up well in a photo, but we all know photos can be deceiving.
So, maybe just the tiles will be good..
