Seems to be a lack of threads for blokes.
On other threads,some ladies have mentioned, their OHs
would post, but had no interest in most of the threads on offer.

I don't think I am breaking a confidence and I am not disclosing any names, but, the wonderful nurse that has offered to support our Sandy is, indeed, your wonderful nurse, Ooaksy. There are some really special folk in our lives, this lady is one.

Good evening - I have had computer problems tonight and have just done a system restore that took ages.
Frank is a lot better today although he did have another smaller Atrial fibrillation attack while they were doing an ultrasound. I spoke with the surgeon today and he assured me they would go but he may have smaller ones for 6 weeks. He said the blood thinners would keep it safe. Why don't they warn them???
All drips are out, the central line removed and the catheter removed and he had his first shower. (He'll probably miss the nurses washing him!!) - they used to wipe him over with wet ones!! All he's got now is the heart monitor hanging around his neck. He will be going to Coffs rehab on Tuesday. I got back after lunch to find Veteran Affairs had organised my flight for lunch time on Sunday.

Have u seen thd sheets made from t shirt fabric....stayed with mates in sydney n they had them on the guest cot.....so soft n comfy....n can chuck them in the dryer.
