Arvo all
Late again. Got to daughter's and younger twin grandaugter was here.
She had just picked up the keys to her house (renting) and wanted to show us.
It's an older house with some curious spaces. We haven't figured out
what a lot of them were used for. But she's all excited.
It's the first time she's rented without her twin sister being there
Only ten minutes away from her mum, so that's good.
Very warm outside now - quite sunny.
21 deg and heading to 24 later

Good afternoon all - good afternoon stawka. Good the g'aughter is close.
Beautiful day here in the Valley richo. Good day for a walk!
Walking into town and remembered I went to get a script filled yesterday and it had ran out. The chemist gave me a few but not enought for next week while we are away so I took a longer walk to the clinic. OMG! $17 just to have a script written. All they have to do these days is press a button on the computer.
My butterfly cake fiend's birthday today. I will be glad to get rid of that cake on Saturday night. I've put it on my dressing table and have to keep the bedroom door shut in case Molly the cav eats it .
Good day for mulching Linda. Is she a neighbour?
Ooaks is a bit quiet today - how's the back ooaks?
Bushie, I would ay you've found the name of your rose. It is a beautiful rose. You are super organised for your market. I hope the day is fine and brings out lots of buyers.
Frank's just gone for a hair cut then we have to visit friends who visited here yesterday while we were out and left their card. They are the ones who have just returned from their 7 month world tour.
Did I tell you I went to a specialist cup cake shop to maybe order some for Milla's birthday seeing I won't be home to make them? At $5 each, I am not paying $50 for cupcakes that 3 year olds will probably eat the icing and the rest goes in the bin. Went to a bakery today and if ordered, theirs are 85c - that will do.
Catch you all later.

$5 a cupcake is certainly ridiculous. Glad you opted for the 85c ones, Sandy
Ooak, she got a lot of furniture from g tree. She's got her dad's dining setting.
She likes to entertain. Always calling me for childhood recipes she remembers.
The fridge that she and her sister did the 'twin thing' with - turns out
it's the same as mine. Hahahahaha - Good fridge too.
She has enough to fill a 2 bedroom house. Spare bedroom will be her art room.
Big back yard....a lot of grass.....can see my mower heading there.
edit: Sorry your back's not good Ooak - hope it's better soon

Good afternoon everyone,
Me too - $5 a cupcake - think the cooks should go into business - those of us non cooks can do the marketing.
Bit of gardening - 5 lines of washing & walking.
Stawks - got a heap of ants also - have the dust but am worried about my herd of Skinks.
Has grown to a herd - they love bacon - break a bit up each day for the same one who comes hunting - pretty tame - will stay there while I break it up.
Or maybe it is one of those - if I stay really still she can't see me.
So pleased for you Slegend - & - so envious.
Richo - just how many books do you think you have - the lot I mean - including storage & under the bed.
JV still on the perpetual holiday - should be banned from travelling I say.
The roses are gorgeous - only have one in my garden - was my father's - somehow survived the transplant - my favourite - ' Peace ' - it sits beside my Grandmom's birdbath - just outside the kitchen window.
Good story about the birdbath - will save it for another day.

I just love skinks. Sorry, didn't even think about them when I put out
the ant stuff. Haven't checked to see if they're ok or not.
The gas guys 'murdered' the only rose I had, when they moved my gas meter.
I was away on hols at the time and they channelled under it and killed it.
It was an old fashioned perfumed pink - Lorraine Lee
I think I found out why Linda doesn't like c thingies
