I am so sick and tired of ethnic gangs bringing their C--P to Australia, not so many years ago this was not an issue here.
Is this how it is going to be ? or can we educate these people to our standard of living and if they want to assimilate then help them.

How many drive bys in the last year have the Bra Boys been involved in, since you're making comparisons?
Did you miss the rest of my post where I said Bra Boys = Australian gang that started in the early 90's, had their flavour of the month moment in the late 90's but are still going strong today.?
Meaning that whilst BFL may be involved in all of the current wave of shootings, the Bra Boys were having their moment in the late 90's.
As always happens, the power of the BFL gang will dwindle and some other gang will take their place. Could be any nationality.

Are you suggesting that because a Muslim family bought your house, this is the reason you have never visited the Western suburbs since?
Am I reading this right?? I really hope not because that is just too astonishing a statement for another human being to contemplate.

No, I didn't miss the rest of your post. I was referring to this part specifically:
Whilst this gang may be flavour of the month in western Sydney, the eastern and southern side is terrorised by the Bra Boys.
...so the question still is, how many drive bys has this Australian gang been involved in?

It would be similar to "Slavic" I guess.....You can make references to Slavic language or culture. (or Middle Eastern or Scandinavian/Nordic)

One of the big problems is the reluctance of witnesses. They come from backgrounds where they cannot trust the authorities, which is understandable but yes, it needs to change.

I hope you're right about the "flavour of the month" Martini, but something tells me that the existence of the NSW MEOCS indicates the problem is serious and long term.

The question is about as relevant as saying "how many drive by shootings were the BFL involved with in the 1990's?'
I don't recall saying they were involved in ANY drive by shootings in the past year. I simply said they USED to be flavour of the month and are are still around terrorising people. But their power has waned. As will the power base of BFL.
As my post was pointing out - whilst the Bra Boys were involved in shootings whilst THEY were the top gang in Sydney in the 90's, so is BFL involved in shootings AT THE MOMENT whilst THEY are the top gang in Sydney.
My point being (in case it still isn't clear) that these gangs come and go. One decade it might be an Aussie gang. Another it will be a Vietnamese gang. 6 decades ago the streets were ruled by Irish gangs as was pointed out earlier. This decade it is a predominantly Muslim gang.

If you are following the news of the last few days, it sounds as if they have hit their peak and the gang is losing their foothold.
The shootings are all related to splits and feuds in their own gang. History shows that when gangs turn on themselves there is enormous bloodshed and then the gangs fizzle.
Add to this that many of the leaders are now dead or with all the raids and sentencings in the last month or so, many are in gaol long term, I suspect we will only see this gang in power mode for the next 5 years as they scale back.

In comparison with the current situation in West Syd, what was it like when the Bra Boys were the "flavour of the month'? Naturally, I have heard of them but never lived in the area at the time so never really been affected.
