I see Billy boy popped over to Iraq for a quick visit to see the troops
There doesn't seem to be any access to bill's surprise trip photos... all very contrived and tightly controlled by Bill's office.
Where was the independent media photos and video ?
Then again, if it is unsafe for a few Australian media then it is unsafe for the Opposition leader of Australia, he shouldn't have went there either.
But the more I look at those last pics, the more fake they look. Were the real free press allowed to go to the RAAF / Army photo shoot?
What I haven't seen is the usual pics of soldiers enthusiastically cheering him on... Is that in any of video ?
Then again, there was talk about him recording a speech in a Labor room so crowd could be added later..... who really knows ?
Anyway, the troops do NOT look very happy about him being there.
One asleep, a few looking VERY bored and not one smile.

All the criticisms are very valid. You can't say they aren't valid.
Luckily didn't have to suffer too many Pollie visits. Just the odd parade.
Oh, and Freedom of Entry's, which are worth it anyway just to exercise the "right"
