I've never had a martini in my life.
I'm more of a champagne person.
I like olives but prefer the kalamari ones to those big fat green ones.

If we're talking about the drink, no can't stand martinis (that's minus the apostrophe as it's not a possessive noun in this case).
In the song "drink your martinis dry" I don't know of any other way to drink them - dry as blotting paper. No thanks. Gin and tonic I like, but not with vermouth ugghhh.

my ex sil, and ex mil, and now that I think of it, the evil stepmother, all drank gin, and would bawl for hours for no other reason than they were drinking gin

Tanqueray No. 10, 60ml
Noilly Prat Original Dry, 10ml
Shake with a couple of blocks of ice made from the crystal-clear water from a Tasmanian high-country creek
Pour into a martini glass with a 25mm x 5mm piece of lemon rind (no pith), twisted in a clockwise direction to extract the essence of the lemon
Drink through a sterling silver straw

Gin is good for cleaning mirrors.
It's then that I cry, upon reflection.
