Have any unauthorized boats carrying people with the intent to seek asylum in Australia arrived in the past few weeks?

I don't get why you'd start a thread asking a question and making out you didn't know, when you had already made up your mind what your truth was. I feel it wastes people's time and it might have been better just telling people what you believed and opening it for discussion. That's my opinion.
I personally don't believe a government who refuses to front the press and hides information from the public. The Indonesian press tells a completely different story to the Australian government.
so please, show me where they have arrived. you said they had. I can't find the info. Not even from Indonesia.

Hello, everyone. This thread is getting a little heated, off topic and interpersonal.
Could we please bring the discussion back to a less interpersonal state.
Thanks!

isnt that a good thing? the briefings will now be held on an "as-needs basis" which could me more often.
no....all this secrecy a good thing in my Country
Sorry, that should have said "the briefings will now be held on an "as-needs basis" which could mean more often.
You don't agree with that? on as needs basis could mean the information will be released when there is something to report, isnt that what Morrison said?
He has provided info on how many boats have arrived since operation sovereign borders and how many people were resettled on nauru or manus island.

we aren't at war...even if we were I would not expect such secrecy from my Government. The only reason for it imo is to keep us ignorant .That is not worthy of respect....it shows total disprespect for Australians .
Our Government is being far from transparent
24 hr media approvals needed for MP's ....how often are they NOT given approval
and why the need for approval ?
will cracks show if it's not co-ordinated .....'off the cuff' so to speak...which our PM said not to take everything he says as the Gospel truth unless it is scripted !
He has also said There is no such thing as the publics right to know
on 15-01-2014 10:32 PM
and talk of bribing locals in Indonesia ......do people really think i it should be 'taken on trust' ?
Seriously ?

I did read it, it was very vague.
it "may be in breach"
"one or two" boats (they couldn't decide)
)
seemed like they didn't know anything and in the absence of any facts were just regurgitating hearesay and fluffing it out - like the editor said to the guy "we've got an empty space on page 6, please just pull something out of your ear to fill in the gap. I need 200 words, stat!"

If claims are currently under 'investigation'....replying yes or no to your OP would seem to be premature

Ok, so our government is being accused of secrecy.
Could it be because there is nothing to report?
Cos here's the thing.
No one else is reporting anything either.
Not the Indonesian govt.
Not the Iranian Gov.
Just a dinky little propaganda generating biased website with no commercial credibility.
So why aren't the official sources or mainstream media saying anything?
Is our government that powerful that they can command other Countries to maintain silence as well?
