Boycott Bali

If the horrific murder of two Australians is carried out then we should boycott Bali and all things Indonesian.

We gave over a $billion dollars to this country after the tsunami, we prop then up with foreign aid and they spit in our faces.

They have  ignored all diplomatic attempts to mitigate their sentences and Watta a Joko has now signed the order to send them to the "killing Island" wouldn't want to kill them on Bali now would they, might upset the tourism business.

I'm appalled and disgusted, scared and frightened for these men and heartsick for their families.

the media are just reporting the news - obviously people want to know about it - even though they claim to be disgusted at the barbarianism of the whole event, the OP has no qualms about perpetuating the sensationalism by posting the article and image.

The media are doing no different.

Re: Boycott Bali

It was on national tv news. I find your stance on this particulary odd, are you supporting this hideous pantomime? sure comes off like it or, can’t you restrain your hostility to a member?

If you read my earier posts properly you would have seen my stance is that I do not agree with the death penalty for this crime, so I'm not sure just how I come off as supporting it - after all, I am not the one starting threads about it or posting news reports...

As for showing hostility - hi pot!!!

Hey, get in the queue, I'm waiting for my very deserved, at the very least, acknowledgement that I was not derogatory to the persons name brought into the conversation.

An apology is not expected, considering some posts last night.

Re: Boycott Bali

Ask the person who accused another of a derogatory remark. She had no compunction in belittling that member beause he didnt know the artist.

Re: Boycott Bali

Who is Ben Quilty? And why should readers care what he has to say?

He has no ability to change the crimminals outcome so he's not really relevant.

Have you read up about Ben Quilty yet? Realised what relevance he has to Myuran S? What good voluntary work he has done in the Bali prison tutoring art? Or is he still just a nobody to you? With no relevance to this thread and the two Australians awaiting excecution?

Re: Boycott Bali

you can't deny nevyn was right though - if he could have changed anything it would have already happened, so although he has been a part of their lives in prison he isn't really relevant to their execution.

Have you realised yet that my post was not degoratory? Perhaps not. You quoted the wrong post.
