Joanie, you are right when you say that not everyone needs or wants all that surgery. Some are content to just live the life they are comfortable with. The hardest part for any transgender person is living for years in the wrong body and not knowing how to handle it.

Many have married and have children, but one day something happens and they finally admit to themselves that they need the change. The problems arise when family and friends are to stubborn, uneducated and discrimitating to accept the persons need for change to live a normal life.

I am an old woman. Propably hold more old fashioned morals than modern society does, but I have transgender friends and learned a lot about the turmoil in a young persons mind who can not identify who they are, and being afraid to tell or talk to someone.

Who says he is even going through transitioning? He has not said he is? Many others have said so but not him. There was an interview other day supposedly with his elderly mum. It implied he had told her everything, but could have been careful editing.

I watch their reality show. I never once thought he was transgender. But, if he is, to someone like myself who has followed their series, it would be a shock as unexpected, but so what! That pic in the op is just a bad photo, and simply with his hair down instead of the usual pulled back style. He was not trying to appear feminine at all, so don't know why OP was attempting to ridicule him with this thread. Just a pic of a bloke with long hair. Bruce has had numerous plastic surgeries which he has sadly never been happy with as he has shown in their show. He has also dealt with decades of torment from the media over them. He has always come across as a great father and role model which is all,that counts.

....And before anyone says "yeah, great role model with the photos Kim has been publishing of herself etc", he has always stood up to Kris (the mother of his 2 youngest girls ) over the way she promotes the family, and it would appear this has been ONE of the main reasons they divorced, as she always over rode him, as she's appears to be all about the "brand.".

Thing is, she has her 19 yr old daughter (and Bruce's) doing nude photos, following in the same business she has set up for Kim. Kim just published full frontal nudes again in a mag, for no other reason than she can. Her 17 year old daughter travelling the world with the 25 yr old rapper Tyger.
